This thesis deals with the effect of changes in chemical composition at two different semi-continuous casting and the mechanical proporties of structural steel grade X70. The values of tensile stregth tests are at Vitkovice on average higher than Tagil tensile tests. Possible reasons are: the higher carbon equivalent for Vítkovice heats, finishing temperature was lower for the rolled Vítkovice products.
