Porovnání vybraných 3D laserových skenerů pro účely dokumentace interiérů budov

Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with a comparative analysis of four devices from different technological categories for the purpose of building interior documentation. The evaluated instruments include the stationary phase-based scanners FARO Focus 3D X130 and Trimble X12, the mobile SLAM scanner Emesent Hovermap ST-X, and the smartphone iPhone 15 Pro with the PolyCam application. The theoretical part describes the physical principles of laser scanning, the characteristics of the tested instruments, methods for point cloud quality assessment, and the geodetic principles of digital interior documentation. The practical part covers field measurements, data processing in the respective programs, and accuracy analysis of the results. Reference coordinates of registration targets were measured using a Trimble SX12 scanning total station. Accuracy of the outputs was evaluated by analysing the root mean square coordinate error on registration targets and by assessing point cloud noise.
