Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to develop a business plan for the establishment of a specific restaurant, considering aspects of today's business environment. A comprehensive assessment was made to determine if a project created in the Czech competitive environment would be viable and profitable. This work contains significant portions related to gastronomy and catering. In this context, an analysis is presented for all factors affecting the management of the business entity in the catering industry. The first part of the thesis is focused on a theoretical explanation of basic concepts of a business project, main goal, structure, formalities, strategic management and detailed presentation of the methodologies used in the project. The second part is a descriptive-analytical, focusing on the general and specific characteristics of the future of the company and its surroundings. The third part contains a business project for the foundation of the restaurant.
