Abstract
This attached final work is about manufacturing and processing of a
glass in the Czech Republic and in the city of Ostrava. In the first
part there is a historical development on the territory of the Czech
Republic. The next chapter is mainly about Moravian-Silesian region and
glassworks nearby. Destiny of two glass companies is mentioned in the
following part. Those companies were satiated on the territory of the
Ostrava city. One of them is bulb factory Lux and the other is called
refinery of a glass Kopista and Dubský. In the last part there is a
suggestion how to make a history of a glass industry in Ostrava more
popular.
