Počítačové zpracování obrazu mamologického vyšetření

Abstract

For this diploma thesis, I chose the topic of digital image processing of mammographic examination. The aim of this work is to propose a suitable algorithm for the search of tumor centers. The first part describes the anatomy and physiology of the healthy breast. Furthermore, the pathological displays of breast cancer, breast cancer epidemiology, prevention and diagnosis of breast cancer. The second part deals with the characteristics of up-to-date mammographs. The next section describes the examination with the help of mammographic and ultrasound devices. The following section describes the method of evaluation of mammographic and ultrasonographic images by a doctor. The fifth part is devoted to input data and algorithms used. The next section deals with the automated processing of mammographic images and their comparison with the evaluation carried out by a doctor. The following section focuses on the statistical evaluation of biopsy results for a selected group of patients with positive diagnosis on mammography screening of mammodiagnostic workplace Vítkovické hospital. The final part is devoted to the evaluation of results achieved.
