Abstract

This thesis deals with the issue of pressure waves in explosive events and their effects on the human body. It summarizes the general specifications of modern pressure sensors and their use in the detection of pressure waves. The practical part describes the design of the measuring chain with the use of a modern pressure sensor. The first part of the thesis summarizes some of the latest technology used in industrial sensors and familiarizes with the latest trends in pressure sensors. The final part of the thesis deals with the possibility of using an intelligent measuring chain for pressure wave sensing, where the diagram of the laboratory prototype of the measuring chain is shown.
