Analýza konkurenceschopnosti vybraného podniku

Abstract

A target of this diploma thesis is evaluation of competitive ability of an engineering enterprise. The thesis is divided in theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part there are described basic terms as competition, competitive ability, competitive advantage, inside and outside enterprise setting. It follows in description of selected methods for evaluation of competitive ability. In practical part there are performed analysises according to methods that were decribed in the theoretical part. Among these methods there are included PEST analysis, Porter´s analysis of five competitive forces, analysis of inside enterprise factors, financial analysis, SWOT analysis and method of paired comparison the so called Fuller´s triangle. On the basis of factors from the SWOT analysis there are described proposals for competitiveness reinforcement of a selected company.
