Abstract

The presented diploma thesis analyses the safety culture in a selected manufacturing company. The introductory part defines the concepts of safety culture and safety climate and describes the methodology of the NOSACQ-50 questionnaire survey. The practical part characterises the selected company in terms of its safety management systems and the organisational structure of its production division. The conclusion evaluates differences in subcultures across individual departments and proposes measures to establish a unified corporate safety culture. The thesis aims to analyse safety subcultures using the NOSACQ-50 tool, assess the situational aspects of safety culture, and evaluate key performance indicators of the safety management system. Based on the findings, the thesis identifies the root causes of discrepancies in safety culture and recommends measures to harmonise them.
