Abstract
The aim of this work was to determine the concentration of potential risk elements in selected localities of the Moravian-Silesian region and to determine the degree of soil contamination with respect to the limits of maximum permissible concentrations in the soil.
A total of 19 samples from 19 sampling sites were analyzed by X-ray fluorescence spectrometry (XRF). As part of a more comprehensive view of the degree of environmental contamination of the studied localities, the obtained values were compared with previous research of bryophyte biomonitoring performed by neutron activation analysis (NAA) in 2015, 2016 and 2017. Based on the obtained results, Hg and Zn.
Within the comparison of data of soil analyzes and biomonitoring, the agreement of possible components of Cd and Zn was found at 2 localities-Český Těšín and Polanka nad Odoru.
