The bachelor thesis deals with the evaluation of the current phase of the involvement of fire protection units in the field of pre-hospital care in the form of planned first aid on request, which is based on the Memorandum on the Involvement of firefighters. In the initial part of the thesis the development of first aid in the fire brigades is summarized, the theoretical part deals with the conditions laid down by the memorandum and a description of the selected components of the integrated rescue system. The practical part itself deals with the availability and workload of the medical emergency service. Next part of the work is followed by an analysis of the current state of engagement of fire protection units in the area of pre-hospital care in selected regions. Finally, this text is followed by an evaluation of the current phase and then proposals for solutions to unify the procedures under the planned first aid on demand can be implemented.
