Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with the problematic of setting fire technical characteristics of modified wood-plastic composite. The introductory part of the thesis defines and divides composite materials and evaluates their current use in civil engineering. The following section describes the wood-plastic composites in terms of composition, properties, production, use and behaviour in raised temperature. The second half of the thesis deals with the characteristics of the developed modified wood-plastic composite, setting of its fire technical characteristics, discussion of obtained results from measurement and description of the prospective recommendations.
