Abstract

ABSTRACT This work focuses on the influence of solidification and crystallization of magnesium alloys. Our selected commercial alloys subjected to thermal analysis, metallography and its derivative. The theoretical part deals with magnesium and its alloys, from history through the characteristics, properties, production and processing of the casting, forming and the use of alloys in common practice. The experimental section describes the procedures and the subsequent evaluation of how the thermal analysis and metallographic sections. The conclusion summarizes the results. Theoretical assumptions have been shown to affect the structure and impact of vaccination was also shown on the curves cooled. These findings follows the recommendations for further investigation.
