Aktualizácia režimových charakteristík vybraných povodí Beskyd s využitím časových radov staničnej siete ČHMÚ

Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the analysis of the hydrological regime of the Ostravice River basin using data from the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute (CHMI), both publicly available and internal (non-public) data. The thesis provides a basic overview of the area from a physical-geographical, hydrological, and water management perspective, which serves as a foundation for understanding the relationships within the flow characteristics discussed later. These characteristics relate to both the hydrological stations throughout the entire basin area and, in more detail, to three selected stations, whose selection for subsequent comparison was not random. The period 1981–2010, representing the standard thirty-year period, was chosen based on the previous processing of these data within the framework of cooperation with CHMI. The aim of this thesis is to unify and complement the available data on the Ostravice River basin for this time period into one comprehensive database, primarily based on data from CHMI.
