Specifika veřejných vysokých škol v rámci právních úprav veřejnoprávních korporací

Abstract

This work deals with the legislation of public corporations, especially those from local government, and public universities. The aim of this study is to identify major differences in the legislation of local government and public universities. The first part presents the theoretical knowledge of the local government and public universities. The second part includes a comparison of local government and public universities on the basis of lessons learned in the first section, with a practical demonstration on the example of the Moravian-Silesian Region and the VŠB-Technical University of Ostrava. The paper used the method description and comparison. The work shows that the most important difference is that public universities have, unlike local authorities, a greater degree of freedom to manage their own affairs.
