Abstract

The bachelor thesis is devoted to the evaluation of the effectiveness of wastewater treatment plants in Šternberk. The first section describes the biological wastewater treatment and removal of nutrients (nitrogen and phosphorus) from wastewater. The following chapter is focused on legislation of protection water. The next section describes the technology wastewater treatment plant in the Šternberk. the next part of work deals with the characteristics of monitored indicators of water. The penultimate part is focused on evaluating the effectiveness of wastewater treatment. The last chapter is devoted to biological and chemical factors that can influence the efficiency of wastewater treatment plants.
