Abstract

The main theme of this diploma thesis is the competitiveness of business companies in the sphere of tourist industry focused on recreational centres in the Chřiby area.

The first chapter focuses on the selection of the topic, the methodology of processing and the goals that this thesis deals with.

The second chapter contains the theory of tourist industry, the views of different authors of the competition and its methods of examination.

The third chapter targets the application of the methods of competition examination within two chosen recreational centres. It also mentions some suggestions for improving competitiveness.

The fourth and last chapter deals with the evaluation of the set-down objectives.
