Abstract

The matter of the diploma thesis is to clearify its reader a meaning of medical facility´s liability insurance for the insured. The thesis is divided into four chapters. There is an explanation of medical facility, liability and loss explained in the first chapter. We can find all kinds of liability insurance according to Code of Civil Law there. Then the thesis follows an insurance, its division as well as a professional liability. The close of the first chapter describes insurance contract, its content, rise, extinction and participators´duties. The second chapter deals with a medical facility´s liability insurance analysis. It consists in an insurance products comparison of three chosen insurance companies. The part of the analysis includes an example of fictively created general practicioner ordination for which every of the three insurance companies has created an insurance offer. There are cases of insured occurance liquidation described in the third chapter. In the end of the diploma thesis there is a summarization of practical part including recommendations for insurance companies given to the reader.
