Abstract

Thesis "Management of Non-profit Organization" examines the issue of non-profit organizations in specific areas of financial management and human resources. In the theoretical part are collated basic information about nonprofit organizations, their structure, history, activities, authorities and organizational structure. At the end of this part are examined and specific non-profit organizations and is given an overview of theories related to the methodological tools used further. The practical part describes the selected non-profit organization and uses above mentioned methodological tools to analyze the organization. Based on the facts established by the synthesis of specific identified problems of selected non-profit organization, proposals to address these problem areas are prepared. The work also addressed the use of that isue in the media through various journalistic genres. Specifically, author prepared Editorial, introductory article on the selected organization, an interview with a member of this organization and a poll about the events organized by the organization.
