Abstract

Ag ore mining in the Czech Republic has a long history. The primary sources of Ag have been mined in our country since the early Middle Ages. Silver is present, or was present, in the surveyed area in three representations. In the past, the group of precious metals was the one most mined, represented by pure silver. Another group was formed by galena ores and complex sulfide ores. Silver is widely used for its physical properties in the manufacturing industry.

This dissertation focuses on the issue of processing polymetallic ores in an old mine working in the towns of Mikulov and Hrob. The flotation process is the base of this research. Research results and commentary on the results are stated at the end.
