Abstract
The main goal of my diploma work is to analyze business and technical profile of company Pobys. Analyze actual network infrastructure and expose its defects. Identify needs and criteria for future infrastructure and design an optimal network infrastructure, that meets the expectations and requirements of the Pobys and of course will be appropriate to the financial budget of company.
The diploma work is divided into five chapters. Each area is characterized by different problems and solutions.
The introduction characterizes the general approaches and requirements of the problem area, the need for modernization and investment in network technology of company, and especially it defines what is my goal of final work.
Introduction is followed by methodological bases and tools chapter. This section defines the main theoretical, methodological and pragmatic solutions and tools in solving the problem of the diploma work.
The next chapter is about analyze the current state of the problem area, which characterizes the client company, its business profile, technical profile, the current status of the existing network infrastructure and its security threats.
The core of the practical part of this diploma work is summarized in chapter infrastructure design and implementation process in a computer network, which focuses on the analysis of user requirements in aspect of business objectives and constraints, and of course the technical needs of the future network design. Creation of infrastructure design itself, the selection of appropriate network elements, cost calculation and the final implementation is also an important part of this chapter.
