Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to evaluate testing of combustibility of textile materials according to valid standards used in the Czech republic and also in the world. The thesis includes a characteristics of different natural and industrially produced textile fibres. Furthermore, the thesis provides compacted overview of standards in the field of determining of combustibility of textile materials. Another part of this thesis is processing information regarding the frequency of usage of individual methods of evaluating the combustibility of textile materials in various laboratories in the Czech republic.
