Projektové řízení v IT a jeho využití v praxi

Abstract

Development of software products can be realized elementally without a real spontaneous way of planning or management. This approach is applicable to area of small projects with small amount of human and other resources. The usage of such approach for larger projects is already unsustainable, particularly in terms of effectiveness, success or risk of the solved projects. The issue of project management and its application in the area of information technology for developing software projects is the main aim of this work. In addition to basic theoretical concepts and approaches of project management, this work provides a case study of project management utilization in real environment for software development. The overall view, best practices and tools are mentioned in this thesis as well.
