Abstract

The thesis deals with the issue of detection and localization of people hoden behind obstacles and under difficult light conditions using technical means. One part of the thesis looks at radiation and technologies used in thesetechnical means. The next part classifies appliances and systems according to the method for detection and localization, it describes the historical development of some technical means, it explains their working principles and using the appliances and systems in safety practise.
