Abstract
The objective of this master's thesis is to design blasting for a tramway tunnel located in Brno - Žabovřesky, along the I/42 road under the Wilson forest. To reach the objective, three various methods (calculations) of conducting the blasting are executed. In the research part, basic information on the explosives used, the types of ignition, the methods of loading, and the harmful effects of the blasting are described in general. In addition, all the necessary formulas for calculations of the various blasting operation methods by Mečíř - Válek, Olofsson, and Bhandari are listed there.
In the practical part of this master's thesis, blasting calculations based on the methods mentioned above are run, as well as firing circuit calculations and an estimation of the harmful effects of the blasting on the surroundings. Suggested methods are calculated for two different types of explosives: emulsion explosive Kemmitti and plastic explosive Perunit E. For the final evaluation, a recommended explosive and method used based on approximate financial calculations of individual suggestions has been chosen.
