Abstract
The project elaborated within of Bachelor’s work presents a proposal production technology of a forged piece – a hub. Thesis contains literary study, mathematical calculations, part design and subsequent forging machine selection. The component will be made on a vertical forging machine designed for mass production. The forging is manufactured from steel ČSN 12050. In the thesis there is a proposal of heat treatment for this steel and further heat treatment possibilities.
