Příprava a ověření metody pro stanovení zbytkové uhelné hmoty ze vzorků hořících uhelných odvalů

Abstract

This thesis deals with, in its theoretical part, black coal and coal material stored in coal waste piles in the region of Ostrava-Karvina. It describes composition of coal waste piles, methods of extraction and separation of coal in the period in which this material has been stored on the pile. There is characterized the self-combustion of coal piles and the resulting release of pollutants into the environment. The practical part deals with the determination of total carbon and sulphur analyser Eltra CS 2000 in samples from a burning coal dump Hedvika. The module CS 2000 for determination of total inorganic carbon was modified and it was measured the content of carbon. These measured values are compared with the contents of inorganic carbon measured and recalculated according to CSN 72 0121.
