Abstract

Thepresent status of non-renewablefuelsischanging. Thus, itisnecessary to developtechnologies independent on these resources. Oneofeasilyaccessiblealternativeenergysourcesistheelectricalenergy. There are many companiesrealizing these newcircumstances and theyalreadystartedresearch and development in this area. This thesis isfocused on the design study oftwo-wheeledelectricvehicle, thatwouldbe a suitablemeanof transport in urban and suburbanareas. Themethodologyofthis thesis is very similar to methodologyused by engineerdesigners. Each step isdescribed and justified. I havealsodesignedthematerialsforthisconcept, describedtheirstructure and desiredproperties.
