Abstract

This dissertation deals with the proposal of an output from the data warehouses for Country counsel of Carlsbad region users or alternatively for external users, and also includes the proposal of the possibility of another data sources employment. Dissertation contains contemporary data warehouse and Business Intelligence state analysis and its implementation into the Country counsel of Carlsbad region environment. In an analysis scope, I dealt with the content of particular data cubes this means analysis of metadata. On the ground of this analysis I could, during the consultations, specify the possibilities which are possible to use for the given outcome i.e. dimensions, facts and data cube values. To propose outcomes in the scope of this dissertation I chose one of the basic tools for multidimensional data cube analysis realized in Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Analysis Services which is Microsoft Excel. Proposed outcomes were solved by the method of contingency table and subsequent visualization by the form of various contingency graph types. Suggested outcomes enable filtration, which comes from client requests, including the possibility for chosen period monitoring. Filters and periods could be changed in both outcome types this means in the contingency table and in the contingency graph. Assigned changes will appear in both types of suggested outcomes. This dissertation results in proposal of several outcomes from Country counsel of Carlsbad region data warehouses which I created on the basis of an assignment solved regions which were unemployment region, document processing, tax incomes and outcomes, budget drawing of Country counsel of Carlsbad region and its divisions, Country counsel of Carlsbad region and its divisions operation dues, grants for operation to state-funded organizations.
