Abstract
The topic of my thesis was to analyze the motivation of potential students for higher studies. The aim of this thesis was to identify potential motives of students for higher studies. To meet the goals of this work was carried out by marketing research interview, which came from 247 usable questionnaires for data analysis. The job titles that in my research, I focused on high school students leaving classes. The actual questioning took place at four selected secondary schools in District, according to predetermined criteria.
The research results showed that respondents are going to study at college mostly because of better job opportunities after finishing his studies and improve their qualifications. Students are the most important resource Web page for each university. According to research, students often decide to study at university as available fields, graduates and teaching method. Students usually do not let another person influence the decision about studying at university. The high cost of the study became one of the two main reasons for the reluctance to study after high school. Additional topic of my research concerned the future of tuition fees, where students often reported that the introduction of tuition fees does not agree, for reasons that the studios will not have the money. 48% of respondents are willing to pay 10 000, - CZK / year. That would jeopardize their future school studies at the university, students are more afraid.
Based on the information I have established a general suggestions and recommendations for high schools could use to communicate with prospective students.
