Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with problems of very low frequency sounds in the range from 0,001 Hz to 20 Hz, so called infrasound. The aim of this thesis is to search possibilities of infrasound measurement and assessment of influences these sounds on the human organism. Most of the available measurement techniques for measuring sounds is designed for the measurement of audible frequency domain. Because these devices can not be used for the measurement of infrasound, were much better and more sensitive equipment developed, specially designed for measurements at these very low frequency fields. Using these devices can also identify the sources infrasonic waves, which can be either natural or artificial. Since most natural infrasonic waves generated not negatively affect the human body is mostly evaluated the influence of artificial infrasound, such as industrial activities or transportation.
