Detekce bezpečnostních hrozeb a jejich eliminace v IP telefonii

Abstract

This thesis presents the options available in the network security field. It provides a view to single security pillars. These are able to build up security and try to reduce the risks and threats to minimum. For long-term used standard security features such as firewalls, encryption algorithms and IDS systems are now available the tools in not yet frequently used system shape to detect anomalies in real time. Besides several commercial projects is as well free available Snort for anomaly detection system. This IDS allows to analyze the operations on computer networks and with additional modules can detect anomalies, and impacts as an additional factor for increasing security. This work taget is to test the system Snort in a mode for detecting anomalies and attempt to detect several attacks used in VoIP telephony.
