Porovnání aplikace vybraných koagulantů při čištění odpadních vod na ÚČOV Ostrava

Abstract

The aim of my work is to compare four coagulants which are still used and they are ferric sulfate, ferric aluminum sulfate and ferric chloride, ferric aluminum chloride. This thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with the brief characteristics of wastewater and the method of cleaning, describing processes running on the Central wastewater treatment plant in Ostrava. It also deals with the phosphorus in wastewater, its resources, occurrence, forms and possibilities of elimination. The practical part is focused on coagulation tests, determination of optimal doses of coagulants and phosphorus removal efficiency compared to other parameters, which are needed to fulfill within a treated wastewater to compliance with law. Finally, assessment is when we use ferric chloride, while maintaining the existing quality of the treated water we will save 20.8% of the total costs.
