BILKA, Dan. The Analysis of Procedures for the Evacuation of People from High-Rises : The Bachelor Thesis. Ostrava : VSB - Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Safety Engineering, 2015. 50 p. This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of procedures for the evacuation of people from high-rise buildings. The first chapter gives a basic classification and overview of high-rise buildings in the Czech Republic and abroad. The second chapter deals with the security policies of fire safety requirements of high-rise buildings resulting from fire and building documents and regulations. The third chapter presents options of evacuation, the evacuation procedures and strategies of the evacuation of people from high-rise buildings. The fourth chapter deals with the analysis of the evacuation procedures and strategies of high-rise buildings by case study specifically for the Burj Khalifa structure. Problems of the evacuation of people from high-rise buildings is summarized in the conclusion.
