Vestavěný řídící systém na bázi mikrokontroléru a FPGA pro velkoplošný LED dispej s digitální PWM

Abstract

In the thesis is implemented design embedded system based on microcontroller and FPGA for the control of outdoor LED display with digital PWM. For the management of large-scale LED display was selected 32-bit PIC32 microcontroller with integrated driver for ethernet, parallel-master-port interface for SD card and I2C communication bus. The displayed data are read from SD card, processed and then sent through the PMP for processing in the FPGA. Signal to control LED drivers is generated by a digital system implemented on Xilinx FPGA-Spartan. On the display board, each LED has its own constant current source which is controlled by PWM based on a signal from the FPGA. Power of card is provided by the DC 5 V standard used in large-size LED displays. The user interface is implemented via the built-in WEB server directly on the control card. For connectivity to network is implemented ethernet 10/100 Mbps.
