Stanislav Lichorobiec, Ph.D. The bachelor thesis focuses on the elaboration of a study of the perceived sense of security of the inhabitants of the city of Opava. The characteristic of this bachelor thesis is to develop a research and specify the importance of safety towards different types of risks from the point of view of the residents of the city of Opava. By means of a questionnaire survey among the citizens and other analyses to make the characteristics of the spaces and factors influencing the perception of the risk of danger in the given locations of the city from the point of view of the citizen, municipal officials, as well as the municipal and state police. Present proposals for possible solutions to increase the sense of security of the citizens of Opava.
