Abstract

This thesis deals with the controlled roll bars on the light section line in TZ, a. s. The aim of this work is to verify the benefits of controlled rolling on the qualitative parameters of produced products in connection with the substitution of subsequent heat treatment (normalization – the increase of mechanical properties, impact energy) according to customers´ requirements. The theoretical part is about cure processes and controlled rolling. The practical part is focused on the description of lines, rolling technological options and comparing the results of mechanical properties of rods dia. 16 – 80mm conventionally produced and engineered for light section line TZ, a. s. In experimental part compares the mechanical properties and microstructure of the test-piece dia 70mm rolled and conventionally normalized.
