Aplikace pyrolýzních olejů ve flotaci

Abstract

The thesis is focused on the possibilities of utilization of pyrolysis oil from the pyrolysis process of tires and wooden mass, as flotation agents. As the composition of the pyrolysis oil is similar (the content of aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, alcohol functional groups) to the composition of conventional flotation agent (Montanol 551+Vypírací oil), pyrolysis oils were applied in the flotation process for the flotation of coal sludge from the preparation plant of the Paskov mine (locality Lazy a Staříč). Pyrolysis oils were applied separately in doses of 125 g/t, 250 g/t, 375 g/t and 500 g/t and in mixtures with Montanol 551+Vypírací oil at a dose of 500 g/t at various ratios. Results (yield concentrate, ash content) were compared with reference values obtained by applications of Montanol 551+ Vypírací oil, which are commonly used at the coal preparation plant. Determined ash content was targeted below 10 %, the yield of the concentrate over 75 % and ash content over 68 %. The highest quality of coal concentrate with ash content below 10 % was achieved by flotation of coal from the Staříč locality using the flotation agent P500 at a dose of 250 g/t. The yield was 58,95 % with the ash content of 8,52 %, but with low ash waste of 56,59 %. Higher yield was achieved by using the agent P550 (500 g/t) at the yield of 72,64 % with 9,86 % of ash content and with the ash waste content of 75,92 %.Very good results have been achieved by using a mixture of Montanol 551+Vypírací oil and P500 in a ratio of 2:2, at a concentration of 150 g/l of flotation pulp. The yield of 76,02 % was achieved by the ash content of 9,81 % and the waste ash content of 82,79 %. During flotation of coal from the locality of Lazy, the best results were achieved by the agent P500 at a dose of 500 g/t (yield 57,54 %, the ash content of 10,65 %). Satisfactory results were obtained by application of the mixture of flotation agents Montanol 551+Vypírací oil and pyrolysis oil P500 in a ratio of 1:3. The ash content of the concentrate was 10,79 % with a yield of only 60,23 %, and with waste ash content of 77,86 %.
