Činnost a hospodaření města Ostravy v oblasti odpadového hospodářství

Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with the activity and financial management of the city of Ostrava in the area of waste management. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to evaluate financial management and activity of the city of Ostrava with a focusing on waste management and formulate proposals and recommendations. In the theoretical part of the bachelor thesis are explained the basic concepts, that concern the municipality and waste management. This part has been prepared in accordance with professional literature and laws. The practical part contains an analysis of activities of company OZO Ostrava and the Statutory City of Ostrava and an analysis of financial management of the city of Ostrava between the years 2011 and 2015.On the basis of the information provided are formulated proposals and recommendations for further effective development of the city of Ostrava
