Abstract

The aim of my thesis was imaging for detecting surface defects strand. At the beginning of the thesis is a theoretical description of surface defects strand. It describes the properties of the sensing device. The practical part describes the scanning unit and image processing via crafted algorithm. The outcome of this work was to evaluate the options for scanning surface defects and their use in practice.
