Abstract
The bachelor’s thesis focuses on solving the problem of closing a railway crossing for fire protection units heading to the scene of an incident where delaying the fire protection unit may lead to an increase in fire parameters. Next, look at the regional fire alarm plan, specifically the fire protection units range table for the affected cadastre.
To calculate the closing time of the level of the crossing by rolling stock, it is necessary to distinguish the rolling stock by their length difference. The calculation methods consist of dividing into passenger, express, fast and freight trains using an example with a railway stop.
The goal is to implement the calculated time parametres into the firefighting documentation and the area coverage table. Based on this knowledge, several solutions are offered. The first option is to evaluate trajectories to the scene of the incident. The second option is to call additional units. Finally, it is the ability to inform the intervention commander or the operational information center. The proposed solution is to connect the position of the firefighter units and rolling stock.
