Abstract
Due to the rapid development of cycle path infrastructure, there is also high demand for bridge structures that can span larger obstacles such as watercourses and roads. However, bridge structures should not only serve their main purpose, but also have an aesthetic impact on their surroundings. It was this trend that helped to choose the topic of the thesis, which contains a total of three designs for wooden footbridges. Of the three designed variants, one was selected as the optimal solution. Individual elements were reviewed for all footbridge designs, and the joints and vibrations of the structure itself were further reviewed for the selected optimal footbridge. Finally, drawing documentation was produced for this selected design. All reviews were performed in accordance with the current ČSN EN standards.
