Vliv použitého ostřiva na vlastnosti žárobetonů

Abstract

This work is dedicated to issue of castables. Castables are refractory composition containing grained aggregate and most often hydraulically setting binder. Their main requirements are the resistance to changes in temperature, low shrinkage drying and firing, sufficiently high refractoriness and resistance to heat. Using, for example in the metallurgical industry, cement industry and chemical industry, such as linings of metallurgical furnaces, mobile mixers and burners. The theoretical part of the work is devoted to the composition and characteristics of castables together with their application. In the experimental part, there was the influence of grog on the properties of castables investigated. We used nine kinds of grog which was collected their mechanical properties (stress strength and flexural strength) and physical properties (bulk density, density, porosity, absorption). According to an established properties there was evaluated, which grog are suitable for the preparation of lightweight refractory products.
