Abstract
This thesis deals with the process of employee acquisition and selection. The aim was to formulate suggestions and recommendations that could lead to the improvement of this process, specifically within the Ostrava branch of PwC Czech Republic. Suggestions were formulated based on a questionnaire survey in which 105 respondents participated. The results indicated that the company has the employee acquisition and selection process relatively well established. However, even so, 40% of the respondents expressed that they would welcome changes in this process. In conclusion, suggestions are formulated which, if successfully implemented, could lead to improvement in the process of employee acquisition and selection at the Ostrava branch of PwC Czech Republic.
