Srovnání extraorálních a intraorálních radiografických bitewing snímků

Abstract

This bachelor thesis engages in creation of graphical user interface for comparison of panoramic and intraoral bitewing radiograph images. Application contains components and functions for basic medical image processing and filtering. The thesis puts emphasis on comparison of intraoral and extraoral bitewing images, their visual quality, intensity of radiation dose and other necessary parameters for correct diagnosis. For this study was chosen radiographic images of patients, who underwent both of x-ray screening. The intraoral images were loading to the application and compared with extraoral one. The application was using image pre– and postprocessing to decide, which x-ray image is better for dental caries detection.
