Abstract
The theme of opening, preparing and extracting gold and copper is elaborated in the thesis. The aim of this study is to find the methods of opening the mine and extracting mainly the gold and copper, which fits it better, in the location of “El Romero” in the province of San Juan de la Maguana in the Dominican Republic. The thesis also contains technical data and studies done to determine the viability of opening a gold and copper mine in this locality that shows us the viability of the project.
