Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to propose steps to increase employee job satisfaction in a selected organization. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. The content of the theoretical part is defining job satisfaction, then explaining the correlation between job satisfaction, motivation, engagement and commitment. This is followed by a description of selected theories of job satisfaction, on the basis of which appropriate job satisfaction factors are selected. The practical section describes the organization in which the research is conducted. In the next chapter, an analysis of the job satisfaction of the company's employees is made based on a questionnaire survey, interviews with employees and also a content analysis of the collective agreement. Based on the data obtained, the following are suggestions and recommendations for individual steps for the company that should lead to increased job satisfaction of their employees.
