Analýza video-konferenčního systému Polycom HDX

Abstract

The bachelor thesis is focused on the analysis of videoconferencing technology and standards used in the videoconferencing system of Polycom Company. Introduction of the thesis deals with general description and divisions of the videoconferences. Analysis of particular videoconferencing system Polycom HDX 8000 is an important chapter of the thesis. The chapter also includes analysis of other elements which are set for arranging local and distant lessons at Faculty of Mining and Geology of VŠB - Technical University of Ostrava. Final part of thesis contains evaluation of the current situation of the system Polycom and improvement proposals for the function of the system.
