Aplikace ohodnocení grafů

Abstract

Thesis deals with appliactions of graph labelings. There exist hundreds of papers on various types of graph labelings, and most of them are cited in A Dynamic Survey of Graph Labeling of J. A. Gallian. This thesis surveys only a fraction of all known results. The aim is to summarize interesting applications for selected graph labelings. Thesis is especially focused on graceful, distance-magic and distance-antimagic, hendicap and radio labelings of graphs. For every mentioned type of a graph labeling the definition is presented along with known (basic, interesting) results and possible applications. Described applications are applications to graph decompositions, to constructions of perfect system of difference sets and the correspondence with Golomb ruler is explained. Also applications of magic type labelings to scheduling of incomplete sport tournaments and application of radio labeling to assigning frequencies in wireless networks are presented.
