Abstract
The EU Common Agricultural Policy (CAP EU) is one of the most oldest and the most controversial EU´s common policies, that´s why it is now devoted to more attention. Czech agricultural has became part of the CAP EU with the accession to EU. The aim of this bachelor´s thesis is to describe the development of Czech agriculture before and after joining the EU, including outlining the possible future of Czech agriculture.
The thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter deals with general theoretical basis of the CAP EU, integration of new member states into the CAP EU and characteristic of the agrarian sector of the EU. The second part is already aimed at the Czech Republic and the development of its agriculture before joining the EU. The last chapter is devoted to problems of Czech agriculture after accession to the EU, a considerable part of this chapter describes the current issue, and that is the future of the CAP, especially its appearance after year 2013.
