Abstract

The purpose of the thesis is a maping survey of the locality of interest, for creating the digital thematical railway large scale map. The first part of the thesis describes known thematical maps including railway tehmatical map and rules for making the map. The next part describes the area of interest, railway terminology, railway devices and the progress of work in creating thematical railway map.
